Dr. Ken Heida attended The University of Toledo in Ohio for medical school and then went on to train in orthopedics in El Paso, Texas. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute before returning to El Paso to start practice. He is now a chief of foot and ankle surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii. In the OR his interests include trauma, deformity, and getting high-demand individuals back to function through various sports procedures. He’s also an avid weightlifter, keeps returning to get his butt kicked in Jiu Jitsu, and follows the Lightning hockey team.
