Dr. Khanna completed his undergraduate training at the University of Oregon before pursuing his medical training at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. During medical school, he received a Howard Hughes Medical Institute fellowship to study the development of myeloid leukemias with Dr. Jeff Tyner and Dr. Brian Druker at Oregon Health & Science University. He went on to complete his residency training at Stanford University, where he gained a deep appreciation for basic/translational research in hematology & oncology. He is currently continuing his training at Stanford as a fellow in hematology & oncology, where he plans to continue honing his clinical and research interest in hematologic malignancies.
