In recognition of our efforts to democratize medical knowledge, Figure 1 has been named a winner of the World Future Awards in the category of Best Health Care Community Platform for the second year in a row.
With the goal of democratizing medical knowledge and improving the future of healthcare, the World Future Awards share, “Figure 1 offers a unique approach to tackling unconventional medical challenges, consolidating physicians’ knowledge, and ensuring their effective collaboration online.”
We were evaluated based on our reliable system of confidential information, where registered users must prove their expertise and status as a licensed medical professional or medical student in order to share medical cases with the community. Cases are published after the user has been verified and the Figure 1 team has carefully reviewed the case for educational value and to confirm any identifying information has been removed. Verified users can then participate in medical discussions, collaborating on both common and complex cases to identify care and treatment strategies.
