Dr. Brian Jaros is an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Rheumatology at Northwestern University. He is also the Associate Program Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship and the Associate Director of the Vasculitis Center. 

Dr. Jaros completed his internal medicine training at NYU Langone Health and his rheumatology fellowship at Northwestern University. He was named a “Distinguished Educator” by the Northwestern Department of Medicine and a “Distinguished Fellow” by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) based on his work during fellowship training. He is an active member of the ACR, currently serving on the CME oversight committee. He also serves as the current secretary & treasurer of the Chicago Rheumatism Society.

Dr. Jaros’s specific interests are vasculitis and medical education. He has authored several peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters on vasculitis and is a co-investigator of ongoing studies at Northwestern University’s vasculitis center. He is a lecturer at the Feinberg School of Medicine and instructs the internal medicine residency on musculoskeletal exam skills.
